Creekside Woodworks is owned and operated by Kurt Krohn, a lifelong Alaskan living along Rabbit Creek in Anchorage, Alaska. Kurt's woodworking began as a personal endeavor to build a modern platform bed after he realized two things: (1) the local stores had few designs, colors, and options; and (2) the lower-48 stores often charged more than the cost of the item in shipping alone. Unwilling to sacrifice style for accessibility, or options for sky-high cost, the solution was simple: he designed and built his own!

Kurt became a hobbyist soon after, spending his free time perfecting picnic tables, bedframes, shelving, tables, and more. As a self-taught woodworker, he has since helped many people design and create pieces for their home and office that are functional, stylish, and tailored to their space or idea.
